Aliways and Ulice

It's that time again... although I have to say that there is (perhaps) a little less enthusiasm this time. I'm enjoying my family so much that  I wonder why I'm leaving them all! So, this year, on 1 August, I fly to Nice, have a room booked in an airport (read nasty, but not necessarily cheap) hotel. I've been there before so know the deal - shuttle bus, book in, go straight to the pool and try to stay awake until after dinner! I have a very early flight to Bordeaux the next morning and will roam around Bordeaux for four days and nights. I'm looking at cycling tours, walking tours, castle tours - a tour for the day to St Emillion. Then i move on to Sarlat for 3 days, during which I will hire a car and visit the cutest town of Conques. It will be the 10th of  August when head to Toulouse to stay with Josette and Henry - it will be lovely to see them again - on the 12th of August the rowing starts - down the towpath beside the Canal du Midi for 206 kms.
